I am throwing a lingerie shower in 2 weeks on Saturday afternoon. What kind of food should I serve? The shower is at 2:30 and will probably last 2 hours or so. Any ideas?

Stick with simple foods because the party is only 2 hours and it’s close to dinner time anyway.
BBQ and Buffalo chicken wings
Deli meat & cheese tray with condiments, relishes and crackers, Sandwich Wraps OR mini sub sandwiches
Cold salads: potato salad, macaroni salad, 3 bean salad, cole slaw, tuna or chicken salad, Traditional Green salad or Caesar salad
Fresh fruit tray
Chips & dips
Soda, punch, and juice
Assorted desserts: Cookies, Brownies, Cakes
you dont want messy foods so go with. Veggies cut up mini sandwich slices chips cookies cheese
white lace cookies, find them at a good Italian bakery
I would do a nice mild alcoholic punch and a variety of appetizers.
Cheese & sausage tray or a cheese ball with crackers, some tortilla roll-ups (google for recipes), maybe a couple special dips for chips or sourdough bread cubes (you can put the dip in the shell of the loaf), cocktail meatballs & franks, and that sort of thing. Have fun!
