I love running around in knee or thigh high socks around the house (plus hubby is highly attracted to the look of it). I ran across these and bought them based on the last review and I am so pleased that I'm going back for the other two colors also. They really are thick and stay up on my thighs pretty well without making that little buldge of extra thigh fat stick out if you know what I mean (like most thigh high stockings do). I also noticed during cold weather they pass for the long john warmth under jeans. Can't go wrong with them, especially for the price.

They are nice for the winter if you're looking for high socks. However, they slip down a bit if you walk around. They look cute and easy to care for. Just put them in the delicate laundry bag and machine wash, no need for hand wash as the instruction says.

These socks are adorable with a matching pair of gym shorts and tank top. I love the way they look, athletic and attractive. Great buy!

I ordered a pair of these for my wife. She was very disappointed when opening the package: the material was purely synthetic and rather unpleasant to touch. The socks were also very tight and though my wife is of small size, they were uncomfortable and disturbing blood flow in the legs - therefore there was no warming effect.
<br />Other signs of poor quality - upon opening, there were many loose strings, and the socks seemed somewhat unfinished. A cheap "Made in China" stuff, sold for about $10 , worth no more than $2.
